WhatsApp: The UNEXPECTED function you will use ALL THE TIME

WhatsApp has a new unexpected function that you will use all the time on your phone, the application having integrated it as a total surprise, but very auspicious.

WhatsApp UNEXPECTED Function Use Time

WhatsApp has discovered today a completely unexpected but extremely useful function, it being implemented in the iPhone application, for now, to improve the user experience of those who use the platform globally. Starting today, WhatsApp has implemented a new function that allows the viewing of static images, or GIFs, directly in the notifications we receive from people or chat groups we belong to.

WhatsApp has this function for iPhone shown in the image below, viewing an animated image can be done by simply pressing the play button, which will be visible on notifications. The static images will be visible in the notifications for WhatsApp right from the moment we access them, and of course there will be the option to download them to have them saved in the photo/video library of our terminals to see them again at any time.

WhatsApp has this function closely linked to the iPhone's 3D Touch system, so to see an animated image, or a static one, we will have to access the notification using a 3D Touch gesture by long pressing the notification. WhatsApp implemented the system in this way because this is how the Apple company thought about the functionality of notifications of this kind, so we will be able to see much faster what we received, a reading confirmation being most likely sent when accessing the content.

WhatsApp has this new functionality implemented in the iPhone because Apple thought the iOS ecosystem in such a way that allows offering such functions in an extremely easy way. Of course, this very important change that WhatsApp wants to offer to users will also be available in Android, but for now in the beta versions for this platform it has not been discovered, and it is not known when it could be offered by the Americans.
