iOS 12 will bring a very USEFUL Feature to HomePod

iOS 12 has implemented by Apple a new very useful function for those who bought the HomePod smart speakers, it offers something requested for years.

iOS 12 USEFUL HomePod function

iOS beta 12 5 confirm the implementation in HomePod of a very useful function that many of those who bought the Apple smart speaker will appreciate right from the start. We are talking about the possibility of making phone calls using HomePod, something that until now the Apple company has not offered, but iOS 12 will bring this function to those with iPhone.

Now those who have HomePod have to answer a call on the iPhone and transfer the audio source to HomePod, but Apple wants to improve this system. The image below is proof that iOS 12 will allow you to make phone calls through the HomePod using your iPhone, something that the rest of the smart speakers have had since launch.

The Apple company describes this functionality for iOS 12 and HomePod in the menu for Personal Requests, the option to make phone calls being listed among the others available. Those from Apple have been offering for some time the option to add reminders, to create notes, and many others, but now there will also be the option to make phone calls.

iOS 12 will offer this functionality for HomePod only when a new version of the operating system for the smart speaker will be released, it being offered now only in a private beta version. In this idea, it is unlikely that until the fall this functionality can be tested by anyone other than Apple's partners.
