Facebook announced last night a series of important changes for the application available for iPhone and Android, with the aim of personalizing the experience of using the application. Facebook has made changes to the navigation bar in the application for iPhone and Android, and according to the American company, all users will see the news in the course of the following weeks, those in the US having them first, as it always happens.
Facebook thought that people will use its application with more interest if they have the possibility to have shortcuts in the navigation bar that are really useful for what they use the social network. More precisely, Facebook's iPhone and Android applications will automatically change the shortcuts in the navigation bars according to the sections we use most often, instead of the static shortcuts visible now.
Facebook: IMPORTANT NEWS Released in the iPhone and Android Application
Facebook claims that the current shortcuts, News, Profile, Notifications, Menu, will gradually be partially replaced by the ones we use more often, i.e. only the one of Profile will disappear, and a fifth could be available, as in the USA. Facebook says that the shortcuts for News (News Feed), Profile si The Menu they will arm themselves in their places to provide quick access to these sections used by everyone, but the fourth one, in Romania, will be replaced, and a fifth one will also appear.
"We want the shortcuts available in the navigation bar to reflect how an individual uses Facebook. To that end, we're customizing mobile shortcuts so everyone can more easily connect with their most frequently used products, such as Profile, Marketplace, Groups, Watch, and Friend Requests."
Facebook doesn't say how many times a section has to be accessed for a shortcut to appear in the navigation bar, so no one has an answer to that yet, but we'll surely find out soon. In the meantime, you have to be patient for this change to be propagated globally by the Facebook company and to reach Romania as well, which could take a few days, or even weeks, so don't be impatient if you don't see it at the moment .
