Apple Revolutionary iPhone Screens

This week representatives of the Apple company were present at one of the most important technology conventions in the world, all to try to buy revolutionary screens for the future models of iPhone. Those from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), they were present at an event in Taiwan based on the presentation of the latest innovations in the field of screens, there talking with representatives of AU Optronics and Epistar, in private.

The two Taiwanese companies are recognized for the fact that they developed microLED and miniLED screens for smartphones, the first of them even being awarded this year for the technology it created. We are talking about screens that are much thinner than traditional OLED ones, and can offer higher resolution and better color accuracy, something that would bring an important revolution for the iPhone, which has very good screens anyway.

Apple has been interested in microLED screens since 2014, when it started to develop such screens on its own, having a laboratory in Taiwan, which it moved in the meantime, because it did not really produce results. Without results following their own investments, those from Apple want to work with Taiwanese manufacturers to implement microLED screens in the iPhone, they are also somewhat interested in miniLED, but this technology does not have such a "bright" future.

"Apple recently sent a visit to Taiwan to visit AUO and Jingdian to prepare for the new display technology of the next generation iPhone. Apple came to Taiwan to learn about AUO and Jingdian's technology in Mini LED and Micro LED. Since Mini LED is often regarded as a transitional product before the maturity of Micro LED technology, and has entered mass production, the industry believes that if Apple intends to cooperate with Taiwanese companies, the target may be placed on Micro LED products."

By switching to microLED, the Apple company could reduce the thickness of the iPhone, or implement new components, offering screens of higher quality than the current ones, and hoping to get rid of Samsung. Considering that the technology itself is not yet mature, and no one can produce microLED screens in the quantities desired by Apple, it remains to be seen to what extent its plans will be able to be turned into reality, or will remain at the stage in who i am now
