Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is again in the focus of Donald Trump's attention, the US president asking once again those from Cupertino to assemble their products in the US so that their prices do not increase. Donald Trump confirmed that the prices of certain Apple products are going to increase because of the sanctions to be imposed against certain products imported from the USA.
The solution to this problem, according to Trump, is for Apple to move its production to the USA, where of course it would have much higher costs than the increase in the prices of its products. Apple would not lose much if the prices of its products were to increase, only the customers would be affected, but they will continue to buy and will equally blame the company and Trump.
Apple is PRESSURED by Trump to make its products in the USA
Apple has already said that it will not move its production to the US not only because it would have higher costs, but also because it cannot procure its materials and components as easily as in China. It is interesting that both Apple and Donald Trump made these statements not long after Tim Cook met the US president, so it is clear that they did not reach an agreement then.
Apple prices may increase because of the massive Tariffs we may be imposing on China - but there is an easy solution where there would be ZERO tax, and indeed a tax incentive. Make your products in the United States instead of China. Start building new plants now. Exciting! #MAGA

I told you the other day that an increase in the price of Apple products in the US could also affect the prices of products in other geographical areas, so everyone would be affected.
