iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are equally affected, and if charging does not start when the phone is locked, it does not stop even after the screen is turned on, or the phone is unlocked, very strangely. In some situations, phones refuse to turn on their screen when the Power button is pressed, if they are connected to a power source, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max having an extremely strange problem, which does not exist in other models.

The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have a new A12 chip, which should be more energy efficient, and it is possible that the problem is based on the way this component is configured to work. The problem does not occur all the time on iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, in some situations charging is initiated when charging the cable, while in other situations it refuses to start, and if you are not careful, you run out of energy in the phone's battery.
