Facebook is in the center of the world's attention these days because of a hack that affects tens of millions of people around the world, but the company is also preparing other important changes. More precisely, those at Facebook are preparing to offer users the possibility to add songs to the pictures and video clips they publish within the social network, as has been offered for some time for the Stories function of the Instagram platform.
Facebook brings the same functionality for pictures or video clips uploaded by users in their own accounts, or for Stories, the music being offered in the form of stickers by the company. Those who want to take advantage of this functionality will have the opportunity to do so using music stickers that can be accessed from the sticker function of the Facebook application, but of course there will be limits in terms of their number and diversity.
Facebook: iPhone and Android will have a GREAT NEW Feature
Facebook will allow the cutting of songs that can be attached to pictures and video clips, so that users will be able to match portions of them with the pictures and video clips they publish, to enhance the message. Those who see the messages published by us with music stickers on Facebook will have the opportunity to see which song we used, plus the artist who created it, so that everyone will be able to use the same content for posts if they want to.
"Adding music to your Stories goes beyond sharing what you're listening to — it adds context and lets you creatively express yourself. We're now starting to test music on Facebook Stories and News Feed."
Facebook collaborates with major record companies to offer this functionality within the social network, and this means that the music will be limited in availability depending on the country in which the functionality is offered. This means that in Romania we will not have as much music as those in the USA when this function of Facebook will be launched, but for now it is not known when this will happen.
