Facebook Messenger has two new secret functions discovered and confirmed by the Facebook company, they being implemented for iPhone and Android users from all over the world by the Americans. More precisely, we are talking about two new functions for Facebook Messenger that allow voice control of video/audio calls, but also of chat sessions that are made through the application offered for iPhone and Android phones.
Facebook Messenger will allow you to dictate messages to interlocutors using this new functionality, as offered by Siri or Google Assistant, the functionality being offered through the personal assistant M. Facebook Messenger will display a special button with the letter M in the upper part of the chat interface, its access allowing the use of the new functions for controlling the application, without the need to use any button or the keyboard integrated in the application.
Facebook Messenger: TWO NEW SECRET Features Confirmed
Facebook Messenger has confirmed this functionality by Facebook, stating that everything is part of a test they are currently running with some of the application's users. Facebook Messenger needed a functionality of this kind, especially since not all personal assistants from the various operating systems have integrated the control option using voice commands, and those from Facebook can offer much more advanced functionality with their own solution, versus one third.
Facebook Messenger will offer this functionality only for English speakers at first, but if it proves to be popular, then it will most likely be extended to other languages in the future. The Facebook company has not yet shown its intention to extend the support of the M personal assistant to countries other than those where the English language is spoken, so it is unlikely that Facebook Messenger will have a functionality of this kind in Romania in the near future.
