Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is preparing the launch of a video-on-demand service, streaming TV, through which it intends to offer free movies and TV series for iPhone and Mac users around the world. Apple has been working on this service for several years, and next year it will launch it, initially in the USA, and then in 100 other countries around the world, so it will be available in Romania as well.

Apple is currently investing almost 1 billion dollars in the production of movies and TV series that will be available for free to iPhone and Mac users around the world. The rest of the month they will have to pay for the privilege of seeing this content, and separately from it there will be films and TV series from other companies, but for these they will have to pay monthly subscriptions.

Apple will offer everything in the form of special packages that will be available in the TV application, first in the US, then globally, all the content financed by it will be accessed for free by its customers. Apple struggled for several years to launch its video streaming service, but now it can do it because most of the competitors are already present almost everywhere in the world.

"Apple is planning to launch its upcoming TV subscription service in more than 100 countries. That would quickly make Apple a competitor with both Amazon and Netflix, both of whose video services are widely available internationally. Apple is working to launch its new TV service in the US in the first half of next year and will make the app available globally in the following months."

Those from Apple will be able to offer their movies and TV series for free, they will sell subscriptions for other services through the TV application, and so they will have a service that combines Neflix, Amazon, Hulu, and other services. It is unclear for now how long the company needs to launch this platform, but we can expect it sometime in the spring of next year in an official presentation.
