orange internet roaming

Orange. The largest mobile phone operator in Romania announced today the reduction of roaming internet tariffs for customers in Romania, plus the increase in traffic offered for customers with subscriptions and cards. According to those from Orange, starting from January 1, 2019, the cost of one MB of roaming internet traffic will be reduced from 0,0071 euro/MB to 0,0053 euro/MB for all customers with subscriptions and prepaid cards.

Orange. The change is made in accordance with European regulations, and thanks to this change, 1 GB of Internet traffic made in roaming will cost 5.3 euros instead of 7.1 euros, which it costs at the moment. The discount is substantial, and if you use a lot of Internet traffic while roaming, then you will benefit from more MB to surf the Internet, upload photos and videos on social networks, or whatever else you do on your phones or tablets .

Orange. MORE and CHEAPER INTERNET in Roaming

Orange. For subscriptions whose tariff for roaming Internet traffic is lower than the one announced as valid starting January 1, the operator says that the national EEA roaming tariff will be applied. Apart from the internet roaming tariff, the people from Orange do not make any other changes for SMS and call tariffs, so you don't have to think that anything will change here, and anyway the latter are generally unlimited, or enough plenty not to worry about.

Good news! From 1.01.2019, the roaming tariff for additional Internet traffic in the EEA decreases from 0,0071 euro/MB to 0,0053 euro/MB (VAT included), and the amount of data available in EEA roaming without additional cost will increase, according to European regulations. If through your subscription you benefit from a national tariff lower than 0,0053 euro/MB, the EEA roaming tariff will be the national one. You can check the amount of data available in EEA roaming from January at *100# or in your Orange account. Roaming rates for calling or sending SMS remain unchanged, and incoming calls and SMS are free. We remind you that you can use the national benefits also in EEA roaming, within the limits of the reasonable use policy. Details at www.orange.ro/roaming.

Orange. Of course, this change will be made not only by this telecom operator, but also by the others, if we are talking about a regulation imposed by the European Commission for consumers. Orange has started sending SMS to all customers to alert them about this change, so you will most likely receive one too, and from now on you can calculate how much additional roaming internet traffic you will benefit from.
