The USA asks all allied countries to give up the equipment of the researchers for the telecommunications networks, and most probably the phones used by the representatives of the institutions, and is willing to pay for it. The US is willing to increase the annual financial aid for all countries that ban Huawei products, so those countries will have money to buy more expensive and safer products from other producers of telecommunications solutions, and not only that.
