5G. LAST HOPE after the DECLINE of the Smartphone Industry

5G. The last generation technology is seen by smartphone manufacturers as the last hope to solve the problems they have.

5g smartphones

5G is the last hope of smartphone manufacturers after the entire industry went into a decline in the last months of 2018, with China recording one of the biggest declines in sales. CES 2019 it still brings us "good news" from smartphone manufacturers, who expect the future 5G technology to convince people to buy the boring phones they don't want now, and won't really have a choice, if they want to use the networks.

5G it is a technology of the future, a technology that is currently in the early stages of the implementation process, but smartphone manufacturers are "hanging on" to it in order to increase their sales in the coming years. Apple, Samsung, and other smartphone manufacturers have suffered from the drop in interest in smartphones in the last months of 2018, and some of them are convinced that 5G technology will bring them back to the "right path".

5G will save smartphone manufacturers from consumers fleeing their products

5G it's only part of the equation, and that's because even foldable screens are seen as growth engines for smartphone sales starting in 2019, with some to be launched by major manufacturers. 5G and foldable screens will be two of the main reasons why many people will buy smartphones in the coming years, and this is because we are talking about new technologies, which, if we are honest, many want.

5G it will not reach everywhere at the same time, few countries in Europe will have their networks launched in 2019, and for Romania we can only expect something at the end of the year, or maybe only in 2020. No smartphones compatible with 5G networks we won't see from our country very soon, most of them being intended for use only in the USA, South Korea, or other similar areas, so we still have to wait for news, as usual.
