WhatsApp. A great new feature, and expected by many ai users application for iOS and Android, is being prepared for global launch by the American company, it is currently being tested for launch. More precisely, WhatsApp is currently testing a new function that will allow users to dictate the messages they want to send to other people, instead of writing them by hand, something that is expected by many people.
WhatsApp. At the moment, the messaging application allows sending voice messages to other people on the platform, and an option for dictating messages is not available, at least not yet. Although Siri and Google Assistant can be used separately to dictate messages to WhatsApp, the application will also integrate its own function for dictating messages, something that many users will definitely appreciate as soon as it is officially offered.
WhatsApp implements a new function for dictating messages
WhatsApp. You can see in the image above how the interface looks like with this new function, a button for initiating dictation is displayed in the keyboard, pressing it activates the microphone to listen to the message. Although the WhatsApp application can listen, understand, and write the messages that we dictate, it is necessary to press the send button for the message to be actually sent to another person, so we will not be able to do this without touching the phones.
WhatsApp. The implementation of the function for dictation within the application comes as a very interesting surprise, especially in the conditions where the users did not really ask for such a functionality to be offered. Despite this, since WhatsApp does not have access to recordings of dictations from Siri and Google Assistant, Facebook needed something of its own to record people, so this new feature will be released in the near future on iOS and Android.
WhatsApp. Apart from this functionality, many other changes will be offered to users around the world in the next period, so it will be very interesting to see what else we will get.
