Windows 10. Microsoft ANNOUNCES the MUCH Anticipated Change

Windows 10. A change expected by many Microsoft users was officially confirmed today, here's what's in store for us.

Windows 10 search

Windows 10. A change expected by many Microsoft users has been officially confirmed by the American company for all customers, it will most likely be offered as part of the April 2019 Update. More precisely, Windows 10 is going to separate Cortana and its native search system OS, so that users will be able to use each component only according to their needs, without being obliged to use them in tandem.

Windows 10. The change made by the Microsoft company applies only to the taskbar of the operating system, so for now nothing similar will be visible in the rest, at least not for now. The separation is done by displaying classic search results for written commands, and in the case of voice searches, Cortana will be the system that will display results in Windows 10 for those who are interested in quickly looking for important information they need.

Windows 10 separates Cortana from the search process on computers

Windows 10 cortana search

Windows 10. By removing Cortana from the user-initiated search process, Microsoft has the freedom to improve the experience of searching for files on computers, something that is not so great now. Cortana will still remain an option to perform searches, but only in the case of voice searches run for Windows 10, so users will finally have the opportunity to choose how they want to use the search systems on computers.

This will enable each experience to innovate independently to best serve their target audiences and use cases. This change is one of several we've made throughout this release to improve your experience in this space, including updating the search landing page design, enhancing your search results, and integrating Microsoft To-Do with Cortana.

Windows 10. You can see in the image above what this substantial change looks like that Microsoft will implement for the April 2019 Update, the taskbar will display separate control options for each type of search. Microsoft's idea for this change dedicated to Windows 10 is very good, and the world has been waiting for some time to remove Cortana from the search process through computers, and now everything will be officially offered to users.
