iPhone. "Extraordinary" decline in sales for Apple

iphone sales decrease

iPhone registers an "extraordinary" sale of sales for the Apple company, the information coming from the partners of those in Cupertino, who announced decreases in receipts. Such a large drop in sales is recorded in China, the country where Apple lost the most in terms of sales and revenue for his phones iPhone.

TSMC, the largest maker of microchips for various components in electronic devices, announced its first decline in earnings in more than a decade. It is directly related to the fact that Apple has reduced the production of iPhone processors, and apart from TSMC, other large manufacturers in Asia have made similar announcements, also related to the Apple company.

The iPhone is directly linked to all these companies because Apple generates very large orders for them, of hundreds of millions or billions of dollars annually, and since phone sales are bad, it's clear what's happening. iPhone sales have dropped by millions of units in recent months, maybe even 10 million units, and that means many billions of dollars lost by Apple.

We have made extraordinary changes. We saw big slumps in November and December. Orders, sales and shipments in all business segments around the world saw major shifts. We think the current major slowdown at TSMC is mainly due to lackluster iPhone sales, and we forecast that TSMC could only grow some 0.5% for all of 2019, but would resume growth of around 9% for 2020.

As happens every year, when iPhone sales decline, not only Apple is affected, but also the partners who produce various components for Americans. It will be interesting to see how far things will go with these decreases in sales and disappearance of receipts, and how many companies will complain about what is happening at this moment.
