Huawei. The CEO Announces LAYOFFS and BIG PROBLEMS

Huawei. The CEO of the company presents an apocalyptic situation for the telecom group in the coming months, announcing very hard times and closures.

Huawei layoffs

Huawei. CEO the Chinese company, Ren Zhengfei, announced today "tough times" for the telecommunications group, along with a series of layoffs due to international issues. More precisely, the CEO of Huawei announced that the prevention of his company from supplying 5G equipment to various countries will have the effect of a decrease in revenues, and implicitly layoffs among some of the employees, the mediocre ones, and those at the highest levels below.

Huawei. Although the company announces a future full of great achievements, in reality the CEO announces that all the scandals in which the telecom group was involved will seriously negatively affect its performance in the coming years. Although until now no one has presented a clear situation of the impact that these scandals have had on the Huawei company, especially since smartphone sales are increasing, here is that the reality behind the situation is much different from what I think many.

Huawei is preparing for hard times and layoffs

Huawei. Apart from the problems with the supply of 5G telecommunications equipment, the Chinese are also aware that not all mobile operators will be willing to buy such products in large quantities. In this idea, the company is preparing to be forced to reduce its expenses, and to give up unrealistic goals, Huawei having very big plans, which could be at least partially blocked because of all these problems.

In the coming years, the overall situation will probably not be as bright as imagined, we have to prepare for times of hardship. We also need to give up some mediocre employees and lower labor expenses. 5G cannot possibly become as easy as 4G. Maybe mine will go off here and there. And even if there won't be a big explosion all over the place, we will still need to feed 180,000 staff. Wages, salaries and dividends amount to over US$30bn a year. We were in a phase of strategic expansion, our organization expanded in a destructive way. We have to review carefully if all geographical subsidiaries are efficient.

Huawei. The CEO of the company also says that in the last 30 years it has experienced a destructive growth, and that the subsidiaries in many countries must be analyzed very carefully, to see if they should be closed or not. To be completely honest, the CEO of Huawei seems to present an apocalyptic situation for the company, as if it would record huge sales declines in the coming months, and should substantially cut operating costs.

  1. Angajati mediocri?!
