RCS & RDS. The telecommunications group started 2019 excellently, continuing to dominate Orange, Vodafone, Telekom, according to the data provided by ANCOM for the month of January. More precisely, this week the first data on the portings made in Romania in the first month of 2019 were published, and those from RCS & RDS managed to surpass their competition almost entirely, as happened in every month of 2018 .
RCS & RDS. According to the data provided by ANCOM regarding the porting of numbers made in Romania, Digi Mobil attracted the most customers both on the mobile telephony side and not on the fixed telephony side. The differences with the competing operators are still very large, as happened in 2018, RCS & RDS managing to "keep at a distance" the large telecom groups operating in Romania, despite the price increases made during January.
RCS & RDS continue to DOMINATE Orange, Vodafone, Telekom at the gatekeepers
RCS & RDS. In January 2019, 82708 mobile phone numbers and 5475 fixed phone numbers were ported in Romania, and although Digi Mobil was everywhere for mobile phones, things were not the same for fixed phones. In the case of fixed telephony, those from RCS & RDS managed to bring 1436 numbers to the network, while Vodafone managed to bring 2669, surpassing the competing operator for the first time in more than a year, having almost half of the total ported numbers .

For fixed telephony, 31.919 telephone numbers were ported to the group's network, somewhere over a third of the total, followed by those from Telekom, with 22.440 ported numbers for both divisions. Those from Orange recorded 16.474 ported numbers in the network, while Vodafone 11.875, the differences being very large compared to RCS & RDS, both failing to collect as much as their competitor, and this says a lot about the interest of customers.
RCS & RDS. The year 2019 started well for the group, even if they were overtaken by Vodafone on the fixed telephony side, it is unlikely that this will turn into a trend for the coming months.
