Huawei. Minister FIRED after Disclosure of the TRUTH

Huawei. A minister was fired yesterday after revealing the truth about the Chinese company, here's what he said and how serious the situation is.

Huawei minister

Huawei. A few weeks ago, it was officially revealed that Great Britain will partially ban the products of the Chinese company, the information generating a wave of discussions regarding the appropriateness of its imposition. The information regarding the banning of Huawei equipment for certain parts of the 5G networks in Great Britain came after a meeting "with closed doors" of the country's government, and it seems that they should not have reached the press.

Huawei. The former British defense minister, Gavin Williamson, is the one who disclosed the information to the press, and following an investigation based on the disclosures, the country's prime minister decided to dismiss him. The investigation began immediately after the meeting of the country's security council, a kind of CSAT, but despite the dismissal of the former minister of defense, Huawei products will continue to be banned for use in certain parts of mobile phone operators' networks.

Huawei. Minister FIRED after Disclosure of the TRUTH

Huawei. The former defense minister was appointed to the position in 2017, and despite the result of the investigation, he claims that he is not the person who disclosed that information, a rather strange situation, however. The Prime Minister of Great Britain stated through the government's press office that he lost his trust in the former Minister of Defense following the disclosure of these secret information regarding the Huawei company, so he decided to dismiss him, as he has already been replaced.

Defense secretary Gavin Williamson has been removed from his role following an inquiry into allegations that he leaked information from a high-level National Security Council (NSC) meeting related to working with Huawei to build out the UK's 5G network. May doubled down on the decision to let Williamson go in a letter confirming his dismissal in which she said: "No other, credible versions of events to explain this leak have been identified."

Huawei. It is very possible that the minister had the electronic terminals analyzed to confirm the fact that he really disclosed that information, or perhaps that the journalist who received it confirmed the source of the information. The Prime Minister of Great Britain says that following the investigation he did not find any other credible explanation regarding the disclosure of information regarding the ban that will be imposed on the Huawei company, so the decision, although radical, could not be otherwise.

Huawei. According to the decision taken by the British government, the telecommunications equipment of the Chinese company can be used in the less important parts of the 5G mobile networks that will be launched in the country.
