Following all the accusations regarding the spying it does for the Chinese government, as well as the partial ban on 5G in Great Britain, Huawei has announced that it will open a special factory there for chips dedicated to its products.

The company said it might eventually also develop artificial intelligence software there. The company will integrate resources, provide industry-leading products and services, and cooperate extensively with local high-tech enterprises to build a safer and smarter society with the public security department of the autonomous region.
