Digi|RCS & RDS. One of the largest telecommunications groups in Romania, but also in the region, made a very important announcement yesterday that includes our country, and you must know about it. More precisely, those from Digi|RCS & RDS announced yesterday the financial results for Q1 2019, together with a series of very good news regarding the services they offer in Romania at the moment.
Digi|RCS & RDS. More precisely, the total receipts of the parent company Digi, for Q1 2019, increased to 281 million euros, from 232.8 million euros in Q1 2018, both Romania and foreign markets contributing to this increase. Moving on to the good news, in Romania the number of Digi|RCS & RDS television subscriptions increased from 3.1 million RGUs, revenue generating units, to 3.4 million, up 10.3% compared to Q1 2018.

Regarding fixed internet services, there was an increase of 11.3% from 2.3 million RGU to 2.6 million RGU, but this is to be expected, considering that the services are the best in Romania. Digi Communications NV Group published its financial results for the first quarter of 15 on Wednesday, May 2019, announcing a 20,8% year-on-year increase in revenue from EUR 232,8 million to EUR 281,2 million EUR. Adjusted EBITDA was approximately EUR 90,7 million, including the consolidated results of Invitel, up 17,1% compared to the same period in 2018 (EUR 77,5 million as of March 31, 2018).

Even if Digi|RCS & RDS is not doing very well in Romania on the mobile telephony side, the other divisions of the company generate substantial increases in revenue, and 2019 could be an even better year than 2018.
