Apple is KIDDING on those who Use USB Sticks

apple mocks usb stick

In case you haven't already found out, the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), finally implemented in iPadOS, and implicitly iPad tablets, support for reading USB sticks or SD cards. With a USB stick/SD card reader compatible with the USB-C port, iPad tablet users who also have iPadOS installed will be able to view files on these storage media.

The Files application is the one in which the data can be read from these external storage media, and the world was finally happy that Apple gave in to the requests. Although Apple gave in, those there make fun of people who use external storage media, Craig Federighi, who presented the feature at the Apple conference on Monday, saying that Apple is back in the '90s.

In a recent podcast, Federighi said that this technology of the 90s has support in iPad tablets because there are still enough people who still use it. Of course, it is extremely stupid that the iPad, or even the iPhone, does not have support for reading external media connected with adapters, but Apple is not exactly logical all the time.

External drives. We're willing to acknowledge the 1990s and go all the way back. You know, people still use them sometimes. I'm an AirDrop fan myself, but I understand there are other uses... we know with photographers, the ability to import their photos directly into an app like Lightroom is so important.
