ANCOM announced at the end of last week that all those who use the services of RCS & RDS, or of other telecommunications operators, should be very careful because they have the right to request the establishment of a price ceiling for the use of mobile internet roaming in the European Economic Area .
RCS & RDS. Mobile operators are obliged to block access to the mobile Internet in roaming when the additional cost recorded by a customer reaches the value of 50 euros, excluding VAT. However, there are certain offers that RCS & RDS, and the other companies, have that do not include this ceiling, so you must be extremely careful, and ask if there is the possibility of making a substantial additional cost.

This means that when users register an additional cost of 40 euros, without VAT, they should be warned by RCS & RDS, or any of the other companies, that they have reached this amount, and that they will be restricted, and how can i avoid this
"The National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM) brings back to the attention of users who travel abroad the fact that they have the right to benefit from a "ceiling" when using the mobile internet service while roaming. Operators have the obligation to restrict access to roaming mobile internet services when the additional cost recorded as a result of using this service reaches 50 euros/month (without VAT) if users have not explicitly opted for another ceiling from the suppliers' commercial offers or if they have not expressly waived the application of the default ceiling."
RCS & RDS. This ceiling for the additional cost in roaming applies both in the European Economic Area and in any other country, as long as the operator can monitor its customer's activity in real time. In this idea, it is possible that in a country outside the EEA you will not find out how high the additional cost is until you return to Romania, so you may not be able to avoid a very high value for the invoice.
