Huawei. The Korean company surprisingly has the support of a very important US ally in the trade war between China and the American country, and this could affect relations between the two countries. More precisely, the members of a parliamentary committee in the Parliament of Great Britain concluded that there are no technical reasons for Huawei to be the target of a ban for the supply of 5G equipment to telecommunications operators in the kingdom.

The members of this commission requested a thorough analysis from the institutions of the British state to see what technical problems exist to prohibit the use of the Chinese company's equipment for 5G networks. Following it, it was concluded that Huawei does not have such big problems with its equipment that they should be banned from use for 5G networks, and the conclusion was also sent to the country's minister of communications.

Huawei. Although British MPs argue that Britain should not completely ban Chinese 5G equipment, they should still not be allowed in the country's key 5G phone network infrastructure. The mobile phone operators have already made this decision and excluded Huawei's equipment from the key infrastructure components in the networks, but the parliamentarians are of the opinion that a government decision is also needed.
"We have found no evidence from our work to suggest that the complete exclusion of Huawei from the UK's telecommunications networks would, from a technical point of view, constitute a proportionate response to the potential security threat posed by foreign suppliers. This decision of the parliamentarians is practically the same as the one unofficially taken by the members of the government's security council, during a meeting that took place in the spring, but which did not bring any official statement. Now the minister of communications from Great Britain claims that he will soon announce official measures aimed at Huawei or other Chinese companies, so we will find out very soon how big the betrayal of the British will be.
