STS. In the last day, a lot of contradictory, confusing information appeared, which scandalized the entire public opinion in Romania, the special service, the police and a prosecutor from Caracal being at the center of the tragedy. Before we get to the location made by STS, it should be mentioned that the prosecutor and the police stayed at the gate of the criminal's house for 3 hours, possibly when the girl was heard by the neighbors calling for help, waiting for 6 o'clock to do the search, this being the time of where home searches can be done in Romania.
STS. Returning to the location issue, in the first image below you can see the location made for the first call initiated by the kidnapped and murdered girl to the 112 emergency service, based on the triangulation made by the operator. It can be seen that the criminal's house is on the edge of the triangulation area made by the operator, STS still saying that the second call had a different location, because the phone was switched to another GSM cell.

STS. You can see in the second image that the phone would have connected to a GSM cell much further away than the one it was initially located on, the distance between them being large, but apparently that would have happened. The discrepancy between these data probably misled not those from STS necessarily, but those from the police, who received the data, and still arrived at the suspect's house, where they stayed for over 3 hours and left his face mill.

STS. Now we have the third image, which shows the third location made by the operator from whose phone the call to 112 was initiated, the location being identical to the first, so the area was quite clear. However, the discrepancies between the locations show that a single phone call to 112 is not enough to be located accurately, because it is possible that you are connected to a GSM cell very far from your location.

STS. In 2019, neither the authorities, nor the mobile phone operators, seem to have the necessary technology to locate phone calls based on the simple call, or at least that's what we're told now. Now if we look at the plane crash a few years ago, with that plane lost in the mountains, we realize that absolutely nothing has changed, and that you can easily die with the 112 and hope in your hand.
