Huawei still waiting for the transformation of Donald Trump's promises, from about a month ago, into reality, regarding the lifting of sanctions regarding the ban on buying certain products from American companies. Although 50 American companies have submitted applications to sell products to the Huawei company so far, the authorities are delaying their approval because the Chinese government is reacting aggressively to the actions of Donald Trump.

Huawei does not have the sanctions lifted yet because the Chinese government has announced that it will no longer buy American agricultural products, and Donald Trump is not too happy with this decision, so he keeps the pressure at a high level. Practically since the Chinese government no longer buys certain products, Donald Trump maintains the bans against Huawei, and so the trade war between the two countries continues, with collateral victims.

Huawei could have already bought products from 50 of its old American partners if the US had accepted their requests to continue doing business with those in China, all of which have already been verified. Of course, no explanation was given for the reasons why none of the American companies that want to collaborate with Huawei receive certification to export their software products, but it is quite easy to understand why this happens.

The White House is avoiding ruling on a decision on licenses for US companies to resume business with Huawei after Beijing said it had halted purchases of US agricultural goods. Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, whose department has been vetting requests to resume sales, said last week that it had received 50 requests and that a decision on them was being considered."

From the very beginning, Huawei was caught between Donald Trump and the Chinese government, and this seriously affected its sales in Q2 2019, something that would continue during the third fiscal quarter. Without a clarification of the situation regarding Android, and with the announcement of Harmony OS, it is quite clear where things are heading, despite the statements made by Huawei managers in recent months.

Huawei cannot promise consumers that it will continue to offer them Android, although today it announced EMUI 10 for Android Q, and many have started to avoid their phones since April due to insecurity.
