Apple Continues to GROW the Autonomous Car Development Team

Apple company continues to expand its team that develops an autonomous car, those from Cupertino wanting to launch such a product as soon as possible. Even if Apple will not launch an autonomous car, it still wants to bring to the market a software that allows the guidance of autonomous cars, which it can sell to other manufacturers.

In order to fulfill their objective, the people from Apple have also hired certified drivers to drive autonomous cars, practically expanding their fleet. Apple currently has 33 drivers that can drive autonomous cars, but also 69 cars that can drive themselves around California to test their software.

Apple Continues to GROW the Autonomous Car Development Team

In total, Apple now has 143 drivers certified to drive autonomous cars, so 2 times more than the total number of cars. Apple lags far behind competing companies that have similar projects, some even having up to 5 times more drivers, or cars, at the moment.

The Titan project, based on which the autonomous car is developed, was launched in 2014 by the Apple company, but in 5 years it brought nothing to the market. However, this does not happen because Apple does not try hard to fulfill it, the company investing many billions of dollars over the years.

Considering that Apple has been working on this project for a very long time, no one knows when they might have something final that reaches the market.
