Apple Spends a Fortune on Movies and Series Attacking Netflix

Apple has decided to spend a very large amount on movies and series that it will release for Apple TV +, attacking the Netflix company very seriously. Although last year it was said quite clearly that Apple will spend 1 billion dollars on movies and series for Apple TV+, it seems that now the figure has increased to 6 billion.

The increase in the budget for films and series dedicated to Apple TV+ was necessary after the company spent several hundred million dollars only with The Morning Show. Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Steve Carell are part of the series, and with 1.15 million dollars paid only to the actresses per episode, it's easy to understand where the money goes.

With the 6 billion dollars, Apple lags behind Netflix, which spends 15 billion dollars annually on movies and series, but it will definitely catch up. The problem for those from Apple is that the initial offer of movies from Apple TV+ is not diversified enough, so it needs even more content.

Apple will launch Apple TV+ in the fall of this year at the price of 9.99 dollars per month, quite high if we consider that it does not have the diversified offer of Netflix. Despite this, Apple wants to compete seriously with the competing platform, so it remains to be seen what it will offer for viewing, and how much more its budget will increase.
