RCS & RDS, Vodafone, Orange, Telekom they have all prepared very big changes for Romanian users in the coming months, all four telecommunications operators being at the center of serious transactions. RCS & RDS wants to buy part of the mobile division of Telekom, and this means that it could take over several million customers, but otherwise, it will still have changed services for its customers, maybe even more expensive.
RCS & RDS is not the only operator that is preparing a very big change, those from Orange wanting to buy the fixed division of Telekom, together with 4.6 million customers, and major changes are planned for the latter. Orange is obliged to buy the fixed division of Telekom in order not to remain at a great disadvantage compared to RCS & RDS and Vodafone, and if its customers will not see changes, those of the Germans will have very big ones.

RCS & RDS also kind of forced Vodafone to buy UPC in order to have a fixed division, and for the latter a series of very big changes will be made in the coming months as part of the transaction. Vodafone has already announced that it will take over all UPC customers in its network, and that it will integrate the purchased company's systems, which generally causes discomfort for users, something that could also happen to RCS & RDS, or Telekom if customers are taken over.
RCS & RDS will still be the operator whose customers will benefit from the biggest improvements if the transaction with Telekom takes place, and this is because its mobile phone network should be greatly improved. RCS & RDS customers will not immediately feel the benefits of the new mobile infrastructure, and this is because it must be integrated into that of Digi, but after the completion of the procedure, there will be better coverage and faster internet.
RCS & RDS, Vodafone, Orange, Telekom surprised a lot of people with the acquisitions they made, and are making, in 2019, but we will benefit the most from this increased competition.
