iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are part of a new free repair program initiated by the Apple company for customers all over the world. The iPhone 6S series phones affected by this problem were sold between October 2018 and August 2019, so we are not talking about very old models.
The iPhone 6S phones included in this program have a component that can break down and prevent them from starting, Apple taking over the problem. Apple does not say which is the defective component used in the iPhone 6S series phones, so unfortunately we do not know what exactly was changed in October 2018.
“Apple has determined that certain iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices may not turn on due to a component that may not be working. This issue only affects devices in a limited range of serial numbers that were manufactured between October 2018 and August 2019.”
Apple created this page special in which all customers with iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus phones can check the device series to see if they benefit from the program. If you have an iPhone 6S phone that is included in the program, then you can repair it in an authorized Apple service in Romania.
