GODMOTHER. AMAZING, why didn't it DETECT a BIG ASTEROID in time

GODMOTHER. The American space agency astonishes with a stunning announcement, confirming that it did not detect in time a large asteroid that will arrive close to the Earth today.

NASA DETECTED LARGE ASTEROID

NASA. To the long list of problems that the American space agency has with the detection of asteroids coming to Earth, we add another asteroid that will arrive today, but which was seen too late. According to information from NASA, this asteroid named 2019 TW1 was detected on October 5, just 3 days before it reached Earth, which represents a problem for the American space agency.

NASA. According to the calculations made by the Americans, the travel speed for the new asteroid would be 41.000 KM/h, very high, and at its diameter it could cause significant destruction if it entered the atmosphere. Those from NASA say that if an asteroid of this type entered the atmosphere, it would explode very close to the Earth's surface, and if this happened in a populated area, many people would be injured in the event.

NASA. A similar asteroid exploded over a city in Russia a few years ago, injuring 1000 people and causing significant damage by destroying the windows of several hundred buildings. Those from NASA should detect an asteroid of this kind in time to be able to alert the authorities in the areas where such an important rock could reach, so that the population is alerted in time about the danger.

"NASA admits it narrowly missed the asteroid twice the size of a double-decker bus that will come close to Earth today. More alarming still, the rock was first spotted on October 5 – just three days before its flyby with Earth. Known as TW1 2019, the object is currently hurtling toward Earth at about 41.000 KM/h.”

NASA. Even if this asteroid will pass at a great distance from Earth, equivalent to that of the MOON, the problem is that it was detected so late by American researchers. NASA should detect asteroids a long time before they approach the Earth, it often misses rocks of this kind, one reaching a distance 10 times smaller than the one that will pass during today's day.

NASA. Because now it has a very big problem, the Americans will launch a new asteroid detection system, which will still be functional only from the beginning of 2020, so a long time from now.
