Raiffeisen Bank Apple Pay Romania announcement

Raiffeisen Bank is one of the largest banks in Romania, and offering the possibility to make payments through Apple Pay was something that its customers started asking for long before the service arrived in Romania. At the moment those from BRD, BCR, or CEC still do not have Apple Pay payments available, so Raiffeisen Bank has entered a select circle of banks whose customers can use this mobile payment solution from Apple.

Raiffeisen Bank offers the service free of charge for all its clients in Romania, just like the other banks that launched Apple Pay this year, so you won't have to pay anything to benefit from it. Raiffeisen Bank allows the use of debit and credit cards for mobile payments with Apple Pay on iPhone and Apple Watch, but if there are limitations in adding them, it would be good to talk to a representative of the bank.

Raiffeisen Bank, ING, Banca Transilvania, Unicredit Bank, Orange Money, Revolut, Edenred and Monese are the options available in Romania to make mobile payments using Apple Pay on iPhone and Apple Watch.
