The iPhone has Photos Stored FREE in Google Photos in the Original Version

Google Photos is the largest online photo storage service, allowing users to free up space on their phones. The Google company offers the possibility to store pictures in various ways in Google Photos, imposing various rates for storing them in their original resolution, which takes up even more space.

Those who have an iPhone can benefit from free storage of photos in their original format, something that even the Google Pixel 4 does not have now from the Google company. Everything is based on the fact that the iPhone can take photos in HEIC format, which in the original version takes up less space than JPG, the format used on the rest of the phones.

Google Photos will not require payment of any amount of money to store photos in HEIC format taken with the iPhone because Google does not convert them to JPG format. For Google, it would cost more to convert them from HEIC to JPG than to keep them as they are, taking up less space than the others.

Of course, this trick will not be available forever for Google Photos, but of course you have to activate this format in iPhone as well. Here comes another problem, because it is only compatible with macOS, in Windows the pictures are transferred in JPG format, and that's because they can't be seen otherwise.
