RCS & RDS, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom have agreed together with the ANCOM authorities to review the offers for the subscriptions that are offered in Romanian for some of the current customers. More precisely, RCS & RDS, together with the rest of the telecom companies, agreed to offer subscriptions with much better benefits for people with hearing, and/or speech, sight disabilities, these customers will have more minutes, SMS dates.
RCS & RDS, plus the rest of the companies, will be obliged to offer the new subscriptions within a maximum of 6 months from the moment of the adoption of ANCOM's decision to impose the establishment of much better offers for these customers. ANCOM has established together with RCS & RDS, and the rest of the operators, a series of minimum benefits, and recommended prices, for the subscriptions that are offered to people with disabilities, so there are some limits for changes.
RCS & RDS, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom Offer GREATER Benefits in Subscriptions
RCS & RDS, like the rest of the companies, will have to offer for people with hearing and/or speech disabilities, unlimited SMS in the network, 300 SMS in other networks, 3 GB internet and unlimited traffic for video interpretation services /mimic-gestural language. All this will cost a maximum of 6 euros per month, and represents a major change compared to the limits imposed for RCS & RDS subscriptions, and not only that, which only have 150 SMS and 300 MB internet.
RCS & RDS, including the rest of the operators, will offer for people with visual disabilities at least 2000 minutes on the network, 500 national and 3 GB of data at the price of only 4 euros per month, including VAT. At the moment those from RCS & RDS, and the rest, have imposed subscriptions with 300 national minutes and only 300 MB of internet, so we are once again talking about a huge increase in the benefits that people suffering from such disabilities have.
RCS & RDS, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom already have subscriptions in offers that have more benefits at very good prices, but these special subscriptions will only be available for people with disabilities at a minimum of these prices.
