Orange claims that it currently has the most extensive 4G network in Romania, which is a very bold statement, but supported by hundreds of millions of euros invested in the infrastructure. Also in Q3 2019, Orange managed to offer 4G+ coverage, at speeds of up to 500 Mbps, for another 370 towns in Romania, achieving coverage of 52% of the country's population for this very high-speed network.

"Orange continued its infrastructure investments in this quarter as well, with a constant pace of expanding 4G coverage. Thus, at the end of September, 97.43% of the country's population and 100% of the urban population had access to the most extensive 4G network in Romania. At the end of September, residents of more than 370 new towns and cities had access to speeds of up to 500 Mbps, with 4G+ coverage exceeding 52% of the country's population."

Orange is practically preparing for the launch of 5G with the aggressive expansion of the current 4G network, which offers average speeds of over 100 Mbps in cities, with maximum limits of over 200 Mbps in many of the usage situations. With almost 10 million customers on the mobile services side, those from Orange try to offer the best possible experience, and it is quite difficult to find reasons to criticize their services.

Orange is now preparing not only for the launch of a 5G network, but also for the purchase of Telekom, both requiring investments of at least over 1 billion euros.
