More precisely, all those who are customers of Digi Mobil, or of other operators, must be happy that the new government led by Ludovic Orban was voted by the Parliament, and has already submitted the investment oath, being now in full power.
Digi Mobil, and the rest of the telecom environment, are waiting for this new government to amend GEO 114/2018, which will soon be 1 year old, bringing very bad changes for all companies. They all want to get rid of the turnover tax, which at the moment is giving them a lot of trouble, Digi Mobil, as well as the network increasing the prices for the services it offers in the country for the more than 10 million customers.

Digi Mobil, Orange, Vodafone Telekom are also waiting from the new Government for a decision regarding the auction for the frequencies of the future 5G networks, something that was postponed for 2020. Unfortunately, the current situation in Romania required that the auction be postponed for the year future, and although Digi Mobil and Vodafone have active 5G networks now, they are not made on the new 5G frequencies, so they will have to be reconfigured to be more efficient.
Digi Mobil and Orange are also waiting for the Romanian state to approve the sale of Telekom to the two companies, the new Government having to take the final decision in the case of this very important transaction. Those from Orange have been waiting for the decision for several months, and in the case of Digi Mobil it is not known yet whether a decision has been reached regarding the negotiations taking place with Telekom, they being very complicated, as you well know.
