RCS & RDS today made an extremely important announcement regarding the evolution of the company during 2019, and what he revealed has, of course, also an impact on the clients in our country. More precisely, those from RCS & RDS announced today the financial results for the first 9 months of 2019, recording in this period revenues of 876 million euros, up 15.6% compared to the same period last year, which is remarkable .
RCS & RDS recorded only in Q3 2109 revenues of 299.4 million euros, 10.9% higher than in the same period last year, and EBITDA of 279.6 million euros, 16% higher than in 2018. RCS & RDS also recorded a 7% increase in the number of revenue-generating units, that is, the expression used to identify all the customers who buy their services and products in Romania at the moment.

RCS & RDS claims that it recorded the biggest increases in revenues on television and fixed internet services, two of the group's strong points, where of course it is the market leader in Romania at the moment. RCS & RDS also announced that in Spain the number of clients increased by 42.5% compared to 2018, which shows that there is also a very high demand for cheap services, more than likely also from Romanians who have left the country.
"Digi Communications NV Group published its financial results for the third quarter of 14 on Thursday, November 2019, announcing a 10,9% year-on-year revenue increase from EUR 270 million to EUR 299 million . Adjusted EBITDA (excluding the impact of IFRS 16) was EUR 105,2 million, up approximately 28% from the prior period in 2018, and Adjusted EBITDA (including the impact of IFRS 16) was approximately EUR 128 million in the third quarter 2019.”
RCS & RDS now has 3.5 million RGUs, revenue generating units, on the cable TV side, 2.7 million RGUs on the Internet side, while for pay-TV services it has 5 million RGUs. RCS & RDS has 15.8 million RGUs in all the markets in which it is active, an increase of 1.1 million compared to Q3 2018, but no figures are provided for Digi Mobil, a sign that it is possible that there has been a significant decrease.
RCS & RDS has higher and higher revenues, and all clients will enjoy much better services thanks to the larger amounts that can now be allocated for investments in Romania.
