In 2019, Digi Mobil made a change based on which, until December 31, 2019, customers using the 4G network for mobile internet can consume up to 50 GB of traffic, instead of the 30 GB that were offered until then. We are talking about an increase of 20 GB compared to what Digi Mobil normally offers in subscriptions for its customers, and this difference allows you to see whatever you want on your mobile phones every day.
Digi Mobil has increased the amount of internet traffic in 4G
Digi Mobil requires Romanian customers to consume only a maximum of 10 GB in the 3G network on their own mobile phone models, while the remaining 40 GB can only be consumed if they connect to a 4G network. Those 10 GB consumed in the 3G network will be deducted from the 50 GB offered in total for customers in Romania, Digi Mobil dividing this traffic quite strangely, but these are the limits within which you must consume your normal traffic.
“The amount of traffic available on the 4G network at higher speed can be consumed entirely on the 4G network or, to the extent that both the 3G network and the 4G network are used. A maximum of 3 GB can be used on the 10G network, and the difference up to 30 GB can be used on the 4G network. Promotionally, until 31.12.2019, the use of traffic in the 4G network of up to 50GB at higher speed will be allowed, from which the amount of traffic used in the 3G network will be deducted. Promotionally, the use of mobile data in the 5G network of up to 80 GB/month will be allowed."
Digi Mobil does not allow the easy consumption of 10 GB of internet through the 3G network, and this is because the data transfer speeds are extremely low, but those of you who have mobile phones already know this. On the other hand, those from Digi Mobil have decided that for the 5G network they will offer up to 80 GB of mobile internet traffic for customers, this includes the traffic that can be consumed in the 3G and 4G networks, so it is not something extra .
Digi Mobil has the best ratio of mobile internet traffic per euro paid for the subscription, but the big disadvantage lies in the fact that the speeds for data transfers are very low, unfortunately.
