Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), was completely destroyed by Huawei si Samsung in Q3 2019, the sales of iPhone phones being in a continuous decline, despite the launch of the iPhone 11 series, this failing to keep sales at the same level as in 2018. Those from Gartner claim that Apple would have sold 3 million in Q2019 40.8 phones, a decrease of almost 5 million units compared to the same period last year, which represents a substantial loss.
Huawei, on the other hand, recorded an increase of 13.6 million units in phone sales, reaching 65.8 million units, 25 million more than those of Apple, and this is something surprising. Samsung also recorded an increase in the sales of phones with 6.7 million units, half compared to those of Huawei, but even so, it remains above the Chinese with total sales of 79 million mobile phones.

Apple was not the only company in which the sales of Xiaomi decreased, also registering a decrease of almost 1 million units, but many other smaller companies also suffered losses. Huawei is the big winner in this whole story, having the biggest increase in phone sales, and all despite the fact that it has global restrictions on the launch of new models that have Google applications. Gartner's estimates show us that Apple is in an extremely bad situation at the moment, Huawei stealing a good part of its sales, just like Samsung, and they will be extremely difficult to recover.
Huawei manages to demonstrate that no matter how restrictive the US sanctions against it are, the Chinese are with it and buy its phones in surprisingly large quantities, so the US attacks have no effect.
