Huawei MATE 40 Pro has exclusively revealed the biggest change that is ready for launch next year, here is what Huawei has planned.

Huawei MATE 40 Pro Kirin 1020

Huawei MATE 40 Pro has exclusively announced the biggest change prepared by Huawei in 2020, a Chinese publication revealing what the company intends to offer in the following phones. We are talking about the future Kirin 1020 chip, which is specially prepared for the Huawei MATE 40 Pro, and which will be launched in the fall of next year, most likely in September, at IFA Berlin, if Huawei will not be banned from 5G in Germany in the meantime.

In its new form, the Huawei MATE 40 Pro will have up to 50% more processing power than the one currently offered by the Kirin 990 chip for the Mate 30 Pro, so we are talking about a huge increase in performance. A Kirin 40 chip is being prepared for the Huawei MATE 1020 Pro, which will be produced using a 5nm manufacturing process, with TSMC taking care of it, as will also happen in the case of the A12 chip in the iPhone 12.

Huawei MATE 40 Pro: EXCLUSIVE, the BIGGEST CHANGE Announced

Huawei MATE 40 Pro has chosen the code name "Baltimore" for this new Kirin 990 chip, the Chinese at Huawei always choosing city names for the chips they produce for phones. According to some sources inside the Chinese company, this new chip for Huawei MATE 40 Pro would have already entered the verification phase for test production, the penultimate step before the actual production officially begins.

"The Kirin 1020 processor has recently been exposed a lot. What is certain is that it will be produced using TSMC's 5nm process. It will be launched in September next year. The latest news shows that the Kirin 1020 processor is codenamed "Baltimore". … there are also rumors that Huawei will skip the A77 generation and go straight to the upcoming Cortex-A78 architecture, which is another generation of upgrades. In this way, most of the performance improvements are in line with previous rumors of a 50% performance increase.”

Huawei MATE 40 Pro does not yet have the technical specifications for this Kirin 1020 chip finalized, but there are rumors that it would use the new Cortex-A78 architecture, of the latest generation. This will bring for the Huawei MATE 40 Pro a 50% increase in performance compared to the Mate 30 Pro, which would be a huge increase, and this is mandatory to keep up with the iPhone 12 phones that will be launched in 2020 by Apple.

Huawei MATE 40 Pro is expected next year as a phone that will bring Huawei back to stores around the world, but also to the top of Westerners' preferences, and this is because the Huawei P40 Pro has little chance of being launched with Google applications.
