In its new form, the Huawei MATE 40 Pro will have up to 50% more processing power than the one currently offered by the Kirin 990 chip for the Mate 30 Pro, so we are talking about a huge increase in performance. A Kirin 40 chip is being prepared for the Huawei MATE 1020 Pro, which will be produced using a 5nm manufacturing process, with TSMC taking care of it, as will also happen in the case of the A12 chip in the iPhone 12.
