Netflix recently decided to launch a new documentary on his streaming video platform that was not well received by many people, and which was harshly criticized by even more. We are talking about a documentary that was released on Netflix called "Don't F**k With Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer", it being strongly promoted by the company in the main menu where the trailers for movies and series are played automatically.
Netflix terrified a lot of people with the trailer for this documentary because it played sounds of cats being tortured by a man who tortured and killed them for his own pleasure. The documentary itself is one that scared and upset a lot of people, and those at Netflix were prepared for this, but the fact that they promoted it without any warning for the customers on the platform was something that seriously affected it.
Netflix TERRIFIED Users with a Trailer for a new Documentary
However, in the days following the publication of this trailer, Netflix received many complaints from people who did not want to see, or even hear, cats being tortured by a demented person. People started complaining on social media about what was happening on Netflix, and all because that trailer started automatically, and contained scenes that were meant to shock people, although many would not have wanted them. see ever

Netflix was bombarded with numerous requests for a change in the company's policy regarding the promotion of this documentary, and after enough attention was given by the press, changes were made. Netflix decided not to promote this documentary among the new titles that are available on the platform, which calmed down the angry people because they didn't want to see such images when they were searching for something.
Netflix has previously gone through situations where people have complained about the trailers for movies and series, but this is probably the first situation where it is about something for such a scary documentary.
