RCS & RDS: The AMAZING decision that left customers speechless

RCS & RDS made a surprising decision that left the customers in Romania speechless, this is how the measure was implemented by the company.

RCS & RDS decision

RCS & RDS made an astonishing decision for the services it offers to its clients, and most probably many do not know of its existence, but those who found out about it were more than likely amazed. Among the roaming services offered by RCS & RDS for Digi Mobile at the moment, there is one that allows its use even in airplanes through a platform called AeroMobile.

RCS & RDS seems to be one of the partners of this company from Great Britain, it develops telecommunications products that offer mobile satellite telephony services in Boeing or Airbus airplanes. RCS & RDS lists the possibility of roaming through the AeroMobile platform in the planes that have the infrastructure integrated by the airline, and in Europe there are many companies that have implemented these services.

RCS & RDS: The AMAZING decision that left customers speechless

RCS & RDS aircraft aircraft roaming

RCS & RDS claims that it offers its customers both voice/SMS services and roaming mobile Internet services through AeroMobile in airplanes, but information from the airline is needed to be able to use it. AeroMobile has partnerships with Air France, KLM, Eurowings, Turkish Airlines, Swiss Air, Qatar Airways, and other airlines, so theoretically, in planes that have the infrastructure installed, you should be able to roam via RCS & RDS.

RCS & RDS do not provide details on how roaming can be done through this platform, so it will not be easy to use, but if you can connect, you should be able to use mobile services on air flights. Even if you won't be able to roam via RCS & RDS for mobile phone services on planes, there are already various airlines that offer mobile internet during flights, and it's not extremely expensive.

RCS & RDS has, as far as I've seen, the only information regarding a collaboration with AeroMobile for roaming in planes, but without more details about prices and usage options, the partnership is a bit useless.
