Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), had several series nominated for the Golden Globes thanks to the quality of the production, and at last night's event several of their actors were present, as well as the company's president, Tim Cook. It is possible that this decision was one of those that Tim Cook regretted the most, considering what happened there.
Ricky Gervais, one of the most famous comedians today, praised the Apple company for the series The Morning Show, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon also being nominated for golden globes, and being present in the audience.
After the praise, Ricky Gervais started with the truth, and harshly criticized the Apple company for the factories in China where Chinese people work 12 hours a day for extremely low wages, and this is an old problem that Apple cannot solve.
The reaction of Tim Cook, or the stars of the Apple series and movies, was not presented, but it would have been interesting to see how the president of the company reacted to these criticisms, and it will be more interesting if something changes in the way it manufactures the products.
