Huawei is considered by the US to be a company used by the Chinese government to spy on the whole world, and for almost a year a massive campaign has been carried out to discredit it globally. We don't know how real everything is, but Donald Trump "convinced" Klaus Iohannis to sign a memorandum to impose in Romania a series of rules for the creation of 5G networks that would effectively prevent Huawei from participating in the process.

Huawei will first be "verified" by the Romanian authorities so that they realize how great the danger is brought by the same equipment for 5G telecommunications. Huawei has always declared that its products do not pose a risk to anyone, but so far it has not really managed to convince everyone that it should provide equipment for 5G networks in many countries. In Europe, Huawei has big problems in carrying out its activity as it would like, and although Digi, Orange, Vodafone have launched their 5G networks on old frequencies, with Chinese equipment, they could be forced to give them up.
Huawei hopes that the conclusion of a trade agreement between China and the US will solve its problems, but Donald Trump is now busy attacking Iran, so he doesn't have much time to attack the Chinese.
