Apple Prepares a "Pro Mode" for All of its Macs

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is preparing a very important change for all its Macs, the Americans wanting to give their customers something they didn't think they would have. More precisely, in macOS Catalina 10.15.3 beta a so-called "Pro Mode" was discovered, which would substantially increase the performance offered by computers.

Apple will offer this function as one that can be activated as needed by Mac owners, eliminating the functional limits. From the moment it becomes active, all limits for fans, energy consumption, and even voltages or frequencies are increased in order to increase performance.

Interestingly, the function is designed to deactivate after a certain period of time, so it will not be able to be used all the time by users. While this feature is active, Macs will become noisier, battery life will decrease, they might get hotter, but everything will run much, much faster.

Mac Pro Mode

It seems that Apple wants to offer this "Pro Mode" for all the Mac models it has, that is, both in the case of laptops and in the case of Mac Pro. A function of this kind was supposed to arrive in Apple's products for a long time, and although it comes quite late now, its implementation is still very good news.
