UPDATED: Orange says that the network is working normally, but recommends people to restart their phones if they still have problems.

The Orange Romania network is down in several areas of the country at the moment, the mobile phone operator acknowledging the problem through a post published on the Facebook social network, just a few tens of minutes ago.

Orange has not disclosed the possible reasons behind the problems that their mobile phone network is having at the moment, but this is the first time after a long period of time that serious problems appear.

The Orange Romania network offers, according to ANCOM, the largest coverage in our country at the moment, and so far problems have been reported in Bucharest, Iasi, Brasov, Buzau and Cluj, but there may be problems in other areas as well.

Orange has more than likely sent its technicians to the field to investigate the source of the problems and solve them as quickly as possible, so if you can't use their network, you have to be patient because things will return to normal.
