RO-ALERT: EARTHQUAKE in Romania, WHY the ALERT was not sent

Earthquake RO-ALERT

E-ALERT it was not used last night by the authorities in Romania to warn the citizens about an earthquake that occurred in the country, this one having an intensity of 5.2 degrees on the Richter scale.

E-ALERT it was not designed to send alerts in case of an earthquake, and this is because the system cannot detect an earthquake in advance, so it has no way of alerting the population before this event, which you already know.

E-ALERT it is thought to alert the population if there are severe problems after an earthquake, or if there are other natural disasters, or any kind of events that can endanger people's lives.

E-ALERT could be used by the authorities to notify us in case there were strong aftershocks of the earthquake, which would have suggested that one, or more, earthquakes of high intensity could have occurred.

RO-ALERT earthquake Romania

E-ALERT it was not and will never be used to notify us in advance about any earthquake that occurs in Romania, and this is because there is no sufficiently advanced technology to predict them in good time.
