Orange: PREMIERE Announced for ALL Customers in Romania

Orange roaming 5G

Orange announced today a surprising premiere for its customers in Romania, the telecommunications operator managing to be the first with something that will become normal in at least a year, but something that is very rare at the moment.

Orange announced that it is the first mobile phone operator in Romania that offers customers from the country 5G roaming for the moments when they leave the country, but unfortunately we are only talking about something that is offered exclusively in the United Arab Emirates, so something mostly useless .

Orange does not offer 5G roaming in Europe because, probably, there are too few countries where there are networks of this kind, the coverage is weak, and the operators are probably still testing the technology to expand it in more areas.

Orange claims that this premiere is one at the group level, not only at the country level, but as I told you above, the news is not good for us because the United Arab Emirates is not a country where many people travel, and the internet is roaming it's too expensive anyway.

"After the launch of the 5G network in November 2019, a first for the Orange group, Orange Romania now becomes the first operator in Romania to offer 5G roaming to its subscribers. Through new partnerships, we will continue to expand the list of countries where our customers can access 5G technology. We want to offer them the best connectivity experience, both in Romania and outside the country."

Orange has launched a 5G mobile phone network for customers in Romania, which is in full expansion, and we can expect to hear other announcements regarding 5G roaming in the coming year.
