iOS 14 confirms the fact that the Apple Watch 6 will have a new function implemented that will allow people to measure the oxygenation level of the blood, this being a function introduced for the first time for Apple products.
The Apple Watch 6 will have a special sensor to monitor the blood oxygenation level, and any level between 95% and 100% is considered healthy, while any level below 80% is considered a health problem.
Watch Apple 6 will be able to also send warning notifications to people based on blood oxygenation levels detected by its sensors, so any saturation below a certain level will automatically trigger the alert for people to go to a doctor urgently.
It is not yet known what kind of hardware upgrade might be necessary on the Apple Watch for this new functionality to be offered, so it remains to be seen what will be discovered either in iOS 14 or in other software versions prepared by the Americans.
