Waze has blocked the reporting of police cars in traffic for several days, or at least that is what some of those who use the application and are present on the Facebook group "Comunitatea Waze Romania" say, a situation which of course comes as a surprise to many who use the application .
Waze has implemented a function that allows the reporting of traffic policemen so that drivers know exactly where they will meet them, but at the end of last week some drivers stated that they can no longer mark the locations where the police cars are, and of course that they no longer appeared.
Looking through the Waze map for Bucharest in the morning, I noticed that no police car appeared, which is strange, especially in the DN1 area, where an important filter was organized to detect those who wander around and do not respect military orders.
Waze did not comment on the situation, but it is not excluded that the Police, or the Government, requested the application of this restriction in order to succeed in catching those who violate military orders, in Belgium the police asking the platform to apply this measure, of course with a temporary character.
Waze has reactivated the option to mark police cars on its maps, so now you know where to avoid them, all filters for checking traffic now appear on the platform's maps.
