More precisely, those from BRD Romania announced to their clients in the country that starting from March 31, 2020, they can benefit from the provisions of GEO 37/2020, i.e. that emergency ordinance that provides for the possibility of suspending the payment of loan installments, and not only up to 9 months.
BRD Romania tells the clients that they can benefit from the provisions of this emergency ordinance, but because there are currently no application rules, they can only notify the bank about the intention to postpone installments. Considering that the application rules do not exist, those from BRD Romania cannot apply the provisions of that emergency ordinance for the time being, but customers must register on the brd.ro/impreuna page to be taken into account for the payment postponement.
